Home > | About the ArtistBrad Rippe studied photography and architecture at UC Berkeley, graduating in 1977. He worked as William Garnetts photographic teaching assistant for three years. Brad hikes extensively on Mt. Tamalpais and in the Sierras, and is a member of the Mt. Tamalpais History Project. A traditional black and white landscape photographer, Brad specializes in images of Mt. Tamalpais and the Sierra Nevada. In 1987-1988, Brad developed a balloon photography system used in archaeology projects in Sardinia, Italy. In addition to his photography, Brad Rippe is employed as an architect for residential projects.
